Young Ladies on the Rise celebrating its first Mother/Daughter Evening of Elegance
What is Young Ladies on the Rise?
Young Ladies on the Rise is a character education program for young ladies between the ages of 7-18 years of age. The program focuses on building self-esteem, teamwork, and wholesome relationships which permeate into the communities, as well as home. We provide a safe and trusting environment where young ladies learn to engage in dialogue which ultimately assists them in reaching their fullest potential and becoming productive citizens in society.
We believe that a combination of community and home is essential to the maturity of our young ladies and accordingly we have included in our programming events such as a Mother/Daughter Evening of Elegance which helps to stress the importance of respect and appreciation. Workshops, seminars, teambuilding activities, field trips and an incentive program that reward our young ladies for outstanding achievements are also tools used to further engage and encourage them to achieve their best. One year's incentive program culminated with a three day excursion to the Sandy Cove Resort. Our young ladies enjoyed swimming, canoeing, jet skiing, rock climbing, and many opportunities to engage in teambuilding activities in a intimate environment.
We believe that the young ladies in our program will be better equipped to enhance the lives of many others because of the positive influence they are becoming and that they will ultimately become the catalyst for change in their communities and making a distinct difference in the lives of many.
